That one day I read a bible verse

Matt and I started talking about getting married earlier in the summer. We were both still legally married to other people, so it was just something that we talked about. We had no idea when or if we would actually do it. I would like to share with you about the day I decided that I would marry Matt if he asked. I was reading an article online about advice to give your daughter about love. The article suggested going to the bible and reading 1Corinthians 13:4-7 and replacing the word Love with the name of your Lover. If the verse still holds true, then he is the right one for you. I was skeptical because I am not a big fan of the bible, but I did it anyway….only not for my daughter, for myself.

Matt is patient, he is kind. Matt does not envy, does not boast, is not proud. Matt does not dishonor others, is not self-seeking, is not easily angered, he keeps no record of wrongs. Matt does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. He always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.image image image image image image image IMG_2061
